Mom’s Animals are made by my mom, Pat. They are crocheted animals with cotton stuffing. Mom crochets and stuffs all of them herself. Dad gets first pick of all the animals because, well, because he’s Dad!
Dad has an entire zoo filled with Mom’s Animals. They sit on a shelf above his computer desk. Most of the animals in Dad’s zoo have names (there are some “bit players” that don’t have names – kind of like the characters in your favorite show that you know won’t make it through an entire episode). Gonzales, a small brown monkey, is the leader of Dad’s zoo.
Ember, my grand-niece, has the second-biggest collection of Mom’s Animals. She visits my parents regularly and matter-of-factly asks if she can have this animal, or that one – but she knows to stay away from Dad’s zoo.
Fortunately Mom enjoys making her animals. I hope you all enjoy her animals as much as we do!
Mom’s Animals make fun gifts for children of all ages!
Mom’s Animals truly are one of a kind!
